In light of the recent lawsuit, we want to assure our fans that we stand behind our kosher status. Hebrew National products are kosher, and this lawsuit is without merit. Hebrew National's kosher status is certified by a well-recognized and authorized third-party. There is close rabbinical supervision of the food preparation process and packaging equipment. For more than 100 years, Hebrew National has followed strict dietary law, using only specific cuts of beef that meet the highest standards for quality, cleanliness, and safety with no by-products, artificial flavors, or artificial colors.

Only in America

A true immigrant success story, the Hebrew National® tale begins in a six-story walk-up on East Broadway, on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. In 1905, the Hebrew National Kosher Sausage Factory, Inc., as the company was then known, processed kosher meats ("delicatessen") for New York's numerous deli restaurants. The company served a predominantly Jewish neighborhood composed of immigrants from Germany and Eastern Europe. This neighborhood became loyal, devoted consumers of Hebrew National, as did New York's other Jewish residents.

Over the years, Hebrew National has expanded its product line and its fan base. For the past century, the Hebrew National brand has become synonymous with:

  • High-quality kosher products
  • Premium ingredients
  • Premium taste, and
  • Commitment to consumer needs

From its humble beginnings in New York City's turn-of-the-century immigrant neighborhoods, Hebrew National has grown to be the largest, most recognized kosher brand in the United States.
